The Sesh, Hull’s weekly live music platform gets an Urban makeover tomorrow night with an all-star lineup of local artists, including Chiedu Oraka, Marx, Muzi Swaks and 17-year old Cameo, who is Browse Magazine’s tip for 2017…
CHIEDU ORAKA 11.15pm
Chiedu Oraka stands out from the crowd as the area’s leading Grime Artist. Having released his latest single ‘Flex’ to critical acclaim we’re expecting Cheidu and The Boy Deezie to rip up The Polar Bear this Tuesday.
Former frontman of the Rock/Punk outfit Headless Hangman, Marx has returned to his first love of Hip Hop, and over the last six months has been touring and gigging the breadth of England like a whippet emcee possessed.
CAMEO BROOKS 9.15pm
One of the most exciting acts to emerge from the outstanding Warren Records team in Hull. Still only 18, Cameo is producing tracks well beyond his years. Clever word play with old skool beats and funky rhythms make him one to watch in 2017.
MUZI SWAKS 9.45pm
With a severe lack of R&B representation in the region, our money is on Muzi becoming a household name in the city. For fans of Tory Lanez, Trey Songz, Kranium, Future, and Drake. Easily one of the coolest dudes we’ve come across at Sesh, we’re truly excited about Muzi’s debut performance with us.
